Debbie is an accomplished Vocational Education and Training (VET) professional with over 20 years of experience in training, assessment, instructional design, and auditing. She specialises in developing impactful training programs and assessment tools tailored to diverse audiences and industries.
Debbie has successfully managed numerous projects throughout her career, including leading the initial Chain of Custody certification for a local Western Australian business under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). She was an original member of the Choosing Your Way pilot program, implemented in the West Kimberley communities of Djarindjin and Ardyaloon (One Arm Point), which addressed adult literacy and numeracy needs. Additionally, she designed and implemented a TAE training and assessment strategy for a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and managed the re-registration process between the University of Notre Dame Broome Nursing Program and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), contributing to enhanced compliance and educational standards.
Debbie holds a Graduate Certificate in Education – Innovative Learning Design from the Queensland University of Technology, a Diploma of Quality Auditing, and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She is committed to leveraging her expertise in project management and community engagement to drive organisational growth and success.
