Michelle is a considered and engaging facilitator, coach and psychologist who is solution-focused and passionate about mental health and wellbeing in the workplace. She has experience in a number of areas including mental health assessment and treatment, psychosocial risk assessment, trauma-informed care auditing and training, recruitment and selection and psychometric assessment, in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.
In recent years, Michelle has worked alongside mining organisations to support their assessment of, and development of controls for, psychosocial hazards within the workplace. She has supported individuals and consulted to organisations whose frontline workers are exposed to trauma, stress and high cognitive and emotional demands. She has also spent time working in the community services sector, training individuals with the skills necessary to provide emotional support and suicide intervention, and emphasising the importance of trauma-informed care.
Michelle is continually grateful for the opportunity to translate her passion, knowledge and experience into different organisational contexts. She is hopeful of supporting staff in their roles to look after themselves and those they interact with, leading to greater capacity and sustainable working practice long-term.
